| Description |
Member-firm conducts geotechnical engineering report and provide construction observation services for a house developer. To save money manager physically observe the project and they decide to preload soft soil area instead of cut and fill process. Since the developer's construction company did not follow the recommendations, years later the homes had high levels of differential movement, leading to lengthy trials.
