| Description |
Member-Firm conducts geotechnical engineering study to evaluate subgrade soil conditions for a floor slab support and perform soil-fill- compaction testing on a one-story manufacturing building. When problems occurred later and the constructor-in charge had to remove and replace part of floor slab, he sued the member-firm for not indicating the existence of plastic soils. The argument of Limitation of Liability was not accepted in the trial because it was not indicated in the additional work's agreement.
