Member-firm performs pre-acquisition and preliminary geotechnical engineering study for residential subdivision, on a 87 acre of land that was still being used for cattle grazing. The field crew protected the borings, photographed and marked each to make sure there was no sign of disturbance from outside. The wrangler at the land claimed his horse got injured by slipping over the boring.
