Two separate project managers from the Member-Firm provides geotechnical engineering study for storm-water detention facility on a new residential subdivision over several months due to delay of the county approval. After almost two years of the report submission, five sections of the slope paving moved and buckled, part of the investigation revealed that the civil-engineering firm had based its detention-facility design on the local drainage district’s “guidelines” for slope criteria, bottom conditions.
