| Description |
Member-firm performs geotechnical engineering study including evaluation of undocumented fill for a for heavy-truck factory. The client hires another excavation contractor with the COMET services and they do not follow the cut and fill recommendations of the project manager to cut costs. Four months later building's floor slab began to distress and member-firm had to pay for repairs.
